How to Buy Eggs
Howdy, y’all! 🌻 Thank you kindly for your interest in our farm-fresh eggs. We’re a small, family-owned farm, just gettin' the hang of things, and here’s how we’re rollin’ right now: Each weekend, we head out to gather up those fresh eggs and bring them back to our home in Watersound Origins, Inlet Beach. Now, I we are not quite ready to put our home address on the ol' internet 😊, so once the eggs are here, what I do, I send out a quick text to let folks know they’re ready for pick-up from the cooler on my front porch.
They are $5 per dozen! Our customers either Venmo us or leave cash in the cash box next to the cooler. We work on a first-come, first-served basis—so the early bird gets the egg, as they say!

At Wickshire Farms, our eggs are more than just breakfast—they’re fresh, flavorful, and gathered with care from our happy, healthy hens. Raised without vaccines or medications and fed only organic feed, our chickens live the way nature intended—scratching, pecking, and thriving on fresh pasture.
We start by hand-raising our baby chicks, bringing them home from Hoover’s Hatchery or McMurray Hatchery and giving them a cozy start in our barn. For 16 weeks, they grow strong, fluffy, and full of personality before graduating to the great outdoors—our mobile chicken tractor, where they enjoy fresh grass, sunshine, and all the bugs they can snack on! We carefully choose breeds that lay a beautiful mix of blue, green, brown, and speckled eggs—because let’s be real, if you’re going to have a hobby egg farm, why not make every dozen look like an Easter basket? 🐣🎨
Oh, and despite ordering only hens, we somehow ended up with three surprise roosters—our official “booby prize” from the hatchery! 🐓😂 They may strut around like they own the place, but let’s be honest—the ladies are the real stars of the show. Whether you’re here for farm-fresh eggs or just the joy of seeing nature at its best, we’re glad to share a little piece of our farm with you!
